Inert
Gas
Environmentally
friendly gas can be stored in protected area or stored remotely.
Ideal for sensitive areas such as computer suites, leaving
no residue or damage to protected area.
|
 |
|
Inert
systems have been developed as a viable and environmentally
friendly alternative for Halon. Tested and approved by regulatory
bodies throughout the world, Argonite is effective against
fires involving almost all combustible materials and flammable
liquids and is particularly suitable for use in areas where
the use of water, foam, or powder would be unacceptable.
|
|
Applications:
Argonite
systems are ideally suited to the protection of fixed equipment
and plant. They are particularly applicable for high value
risks where fires can have devastating consequences way
beyond the cost of damage and lost production.

|
Chemical-based
gases
Environmentally
acceptable gas i.e. FM200 suitable for most applications,
leaves no residue or damage. Stored at low pressure in protected
area.
It
has been universally accepted as the most suitable extinguishant
to supersede Halon 1301. It gives superior extinguishing
performance, is an environmentally friendly agent and is
safe to use in manned areas. Stopping the fire in these
critical first few seconds can save thousands of pounds
worth of damage to equipment and consequent loss of production.
Rapid fire knockdown within ten seconds.

Room
Integrity Testing
Ensures
the effectiveness of your extinguishing system, by testing
the integrity if the room, i.e. preventing the extinguishant
from escaping.
Integrity
testing is a requirement of BS 14520 and should be carried
out annually.
